Jamie Peha serves as the Executive Director of the Auction of Washington Wines, the state’s premier wine auction and one of the nation’s top five charitable wine events. Since 1988, the auction has raised over $68 million, enhancing the visibility and prestige of Washington’s wine industry while supporting Seattle Children’s Hospital, funding viticulture and enology research at Washington State University, and contributing to Industry Grant Partner Vital Wines. In her seven year tenure the organization raised $23 million.
With over 30 years of leadership in the Washington wine industry, Peha has played a pivotal role in its growth both locally and nationally. During her tenure at the Washington Wine Commission, she launched Taste Washington—the state’s largest wine event—established the Washington Wine Restaurant Awards and led statewide Washington Wine Month campaigns. She also expanded distribution for Washington wines across more than a dozen major U.S. cities, increasing national awareness.
As President and CEO of Peha Promotions, LLC, a marketing strategy and event solutions firm, she created ground-breaking events, founded the Seattle Wine and Food Experience and produced Table Talk Northwest: Radio That Tastes Good on Seattle’s KKNW 1150 AM. As Jamie moves into what she is calling her "rewirement" phase, she shares perspective on designing a life with purpose. Peha is a graduate of Washington State University’s Business and Hospitality Program and holds a WSET Level 2 Certificate. She has been recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as a 2024 Woman of Influence and joined a list of accomplished business women as a Woman who Leads. She is a past president and board member of the Seattle Chapter of Les Dames d'escoffier.
